You don't need any experience in the entertainment world.

All you need is a passion for education and the willingness to try a new technique for teaching foreign languages. The workshop will be divided into two parts:

Experiential:
Participants will learn Class Clown techniques which include how to foster "creative complicity" and how to build a playful, fun and effective learning environment.

Reflection:
How to integrate practical Class Clown techniques into classroom teaching activities.

The Class Clown workshop is based on the manual of the same name by Cathal Carroll, which describes the techniques he has developed over 25 years of experience as a clown, actor, facilitator, and EFL teacher in Italian schools.

His method is a combination of theatrical exercises and theatrical clown techniques embedded in an interactive, dynamic, and fun teaching structure. The value of his method is evident in his continued success in the teaching field.
