From Bram Stoker to J.K. Rowling, Shakespeare to Dante, writers have been captivating our imaginations with stories and tales since the dawn of time. Storytelling is a fundamental aspect of our humanity and writers have been using the same archetypal structures for thousands of years, to memorable effect.
Why? Because archetypal themes such as, for example, Comedy, Tragedy, and Rebirth are themes close to the heart of every human.
Once Upon a … Story! exposes the tricks and secrets of the greatest writers, illustrating the power and simplicity in storytelling while at the same time involving spectators in this entirely 100% improvised show... completely in English.
Since it is entirely improvised, audience participation is fundamental for this performance. Prctically speaking, this means that all of the creative elements in the performance must come from the audience, making this a truly interactive experience for every audience.
